Who we are

John Podson and Crystal Odegaard are the co-owners of Cabinas Jimenez and are both world travelers who enjoy bringing home treasures to display in their hotel. You will enjoy many of their finds in the rooms of the cabinas. John is from the Philadelphia, Pa. area but has lived in Cape May, NJ for most of his adult life. He has been involved in real estate and commercial fishing off the eastern seaboard of the US for over 20 years. Crystal is from Northern Ca but has also lived in Cape May for many years. Prior to graduating from culinary school she was active in commercial fishing in Oregon and Alaska.Her culinary background includes many 4 star restaurants, cruise ship lines, and a Barkentine Sailing ship the South Sea.
