The Bungalow – Waterfront Views

The Private Bungalow is “the best room in the house”. The Bungalow features 1 King size bed and two double bunk beds. The room offers also a fully equipped kitchen and huge private deck. Cabinas – Gulf / Pool View

One of our newest additions are Cabinas 19 and 20, a new building located directly on the pool with beautiful ocean views. The rooms offer a private bathroom, a TV, a mini-fridge, coffee-maker, utensils, fans and air-conditioning. There is also a beautiful private balcony for Cabina 20 (upper level) overlooking the Golfo Dulce and the pool area. Cabina 19 offers a beautiful private terrace area.

Rancho Upstairs – Golfo Dulce Views

The Rancho Upstairs is located on the top level of a two story free standing house. The Rancho features a private deck 12 ft above the Golfo Dulce. It also features a fully equipped kitchen on the deck. The Rancho is located by the pool and is directly next to the waterfront. Additional amenities for the two Rancho Upstairs rooms include a TV, private bathroom, air-conditioning, and fans.

We traveled with another couple and had booked two of the standard rooms which were find for a quick visit. Our first morning the owner, John apologized for not being here when we checked in because he always upgrades when possible from the rooms we had. The upgrades we spectacular. The staff were so wonderful. My husband and I travel a lot and this is by fair the best and friendly all round staff we have ever met.

John, you’ve a great job selecting your people and we loved the Cabinas. We didn’t want to leave. Puerto Jiménez is probably what Jaco was 20 years ago, let’s hope it stays that way.

I stayed at Cabinas Jimenez a night before and after a 3-day trip to Corcovado. They upgraded me to a better room than what I’d booked, and and Annie was so sweet and helpful with activities and transportation. I showed up with a full day to kill and not much of an idea of what to do, and she suggested a great bike ride to a nearby beach and some self-guided kayaking. The hotel has bikes and kayaks that you can rent free of charge which made for a fun and active day. The location is a 3 minute walk to the “main strip” including the meeting point for most Corcovado hikes, which was super convenient. They also offer free luggage storage and helped me to arrange transport to La Palma to catch my bus the next day. I’d definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Jimenez!

CHECKIN & CHECKOUT

Check in is generally from 12pm, but it depends on availability, and during high season and holiday seasons you may at times have to wait slightly for your Cabina to be ready and cleaned.

Check out is at 10am. We realize this may be early for some guests, but we have to get your Cabina cleaned and ready for the next guest.

If you leave before 8am, leave the key in your room and close the door. We will take care of the rest.

CANCELLATION

A advanced deposit is required. Cancellation requires notice via e-mail 2 weeks/ 14 days in advance or you will be charged in full. Once submitted, if you request any changes to this reservation, we can not guarantee availability. Payment is preferred in Cash in either Colones at the current exchange or American Dollars. Payment in full is due at the time of check in. There is a 6% fee charged for all credit card payments.
